There are no translations available. CloudWorx VR is the latest software package of Leica Geosystems for point cloud processing. This brand new plug in for Autodesk 3ds Max and Maya give us the possibility to get easy access to those powerful tools. The enormous speed of our phase based laser scanners enables us to capture whole buildings or any other object in short time with a very high resolution of billions of points. Details in the range of a few millimeters up to objects of several hundred meters can be scanned in some hours. These point cloud data as a copy of the real world can now be used in 3ds Max or Maya to create 3d models with a new quality standard in less time. On the one hand the modeling of facades of buildings is much easier if you have a tool like a representative full scale point cloud. On the other hand coloring or texturing of scan data is possible now with CloudWorx VR.  Based on the precise laser scanner data in combination with texturing and rendering capabilities of virtual reality tools we are able to get the next mile stone in point cloud processing.
